Writing a Great Art or Craft Blog: A Guide for Creative People

If you're an artist or crafter and you want to share your work with the world, blogging is a wonderful way to do it. I wrote this guide out of my six years as a craft blogger, making most of my living through blogging for the past four years. I blog every week and I love the process and the community it's brought me.

Most blogging guides seem to focus on the technical aspects of blogging. And while these are certainly important, I've focused this guide on a subject I think matters much more: developing the kind of interesting, high-value blog content that draws a devoted following.

There's a lot more to blogging than simply asking "What shall I write about today?" This book will teach you how to think more like an online magazine editor and build your blog's content plan from the ground up. You'll get some thought-provoking questions to help you decide what you want your blog to say about you, and how to go about translating these ideas into great blog posts.

This book also looks at the number-one question people ask me: "How do I get more readers for my blog?" We'll examine several reasons why you might be interested in a bigger audience, and then cover useful techniques you can use to grow your readership.

Finally, for those of you who hope to someday make some income from your blog, we'll take a realistic look at what it takes to make that happen.

This guide, which is designed for beginning and intermediate bloggers, is a fast, easy read that gives you a whole lot of actionable tools you can put to use on your blog right away.
